Kim Neilson Graduates from MBA’s Future Leaders Program

New Britain, CT October 29, 2003 The McCue Mortgage Company announced today that Kim Neilson, Senior Vice President of Secondary Marketing, has successfully completed and graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Future Leaders Program. The Future Leaders Program is a management program designed to identify and cultivate the next generation of leaders for the real estate finance industry. The graduates were honored this month at the MBA’s 90th Annual Convention in San Diego, CA.
Since its inception in 1996, the Future Leaders Program has graduated 240 real estate finance professionals. The Program provides a comprehensive curriculum dealing with leadership, business analysis and decision making. The program also covers the legislative process, state and local issues, and business management topics. Neilson was one of 37 professionals nationwide to be selected to participate in the 2003 program.
“Kim Neilson exemplifies what the word professional means in the real estate finance industry,” said William McCue, President of the McCue Mortgage Company. “Her successful completion of the Future Leaders program is a testament to her commitment to the industry and her career.”
Neilson began her career with McCue Mortgage and has over 18 years experience in the industry. In addition to involvement in the nationally active MBA, Neilson has served on Fannie Mae’s Secondary Advisory Council. She is also active on the local level with the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association, serving as co-chair of the association’s secondary marketing committee.
