New Britain, CT – January 10, 2007 – The McCue Mortgage Company announced today that the Company has re-signed former University of Connecticut and WNBA basketball star and ESPN commentator Rebecca Lobo, as the Company’s spokesperson. As McCue Mortgage spokesperson, Ms. Lobo will continue to be featured in McCue’s advertising, as well as doing public appearances and speaking engagements at various industry functions. She also will support McCue’s charitable community-based initiatives.

After leading the University of Connecticut to its first NCAA Championship in 1995, Rebecca Lobo was named a 1995 Rhodes Scholar candidate and a NCAA top scholar athlete. She was the youngest member of the 1996 gold medal US Women’s Olympic Basketball team, and one of the WNBA’s original players, where she led the New York Liberty to the 1997 WNBA Finals.
