Loan Application Checklist

In order to be prepared for your loan application, you will need to collect several documents to give to your lender to verify your income, assets and on-going debts. This information is needed to ensure that you can financially support your mortgage, make a down payment and pay closing costs. The documents needed include:

  • W2’s for the past 2 years   

  • Most current paystub   








  • If currently own, residence addresses from the past year and/or addresses of other real estate owned

  • If renting, last 12 months rent checks or landlord's full name and mailing address for the past year

  • Names and addresses of employers from the past 2 years   

  • Last 2 months of bank statements for all checking, savings, mutual funds/401K etc.

  • Names, addresses, account numbers and monthly payments on all open loans (car, student, personal)
